Looks Like the Big One

Still in N.O., but expecting a mandatory evacuation first thing in the morning. It will not be easy to get The Mom to cooperate, and bringing along The Sister's Doberman, The Mom's dog and our own cat will be no walk in the park either, but we're not seeing any good news from the hurricane center at all.

I think this is going to be bad.

RANDY:

Just heard the results from Hotter N Hell ROad races on Sunday. Thought you may want to post

Pro 1-2 1st Overall Russ Walker
Cat 3 1st Overall Patrick Marr

Both guys attacked from 5 miles out or so and blew the breaks apart going solo to the line. It was pretty impressive

Good luck. I've been through a Cat 3 and that was Bad News.

Hope things turn out well.

Randy, if when you get back and you see my Civic on top of The Boot could you just make sure no one steals my alloy rims please?

Best of luck mate. I know this sucks arse and hope y'all come out relatively unscathed.

Hi Randy,

Hope you and your family are safe. The devastation shown on TV is tremendous. Proving that evacuation is the only right thing to do.

Hang in there!

Randy,

I sure hope your Ok. I live in Central Florida and went through 3 hurricanes last year. Had to rebuild about half my house and don't wish that on anybody. It took us almost 3 months to rebuild after the last hurricane and we were lucky. We found a roofing contractor early before the shingle shortages.

My prayers are with you and your family.

Dan.
